Some time ago I got involved with a company that stated they would help me repair my credit. I needed some kind system to help me because I had made so many mistakes in my past that directly affected my credit. This company charged me hundreds of dollars. What they did for me was practically nothing and worst of all, they didn't teach me how to help myself! My name is Erik, I am the Founder and CEO of X-Cellent Credit, LLC. I became interested in Credit Repair when I found that the things that I was wanting, like a car or a house, required more money which realistically meant getting a more presentable credit report for loans. My spending habits were really bad and my habits for paying my bills were atrocious. My credit score on my TransUnion credit report was a 490. I knew that I needed to make a change. I searched for an answer and found a company that did credit repair (not debt consolidation, but specifically Credit Repair). They promised me many things. In the end all they did for me was draft three letters to the Major Credit Bureaus and had me sign and send them. This cost me nearly $500 dollars. (That company gave me three stamped and addressed envelops though. Sigh!) They never came through with their other promises and to make things worse the letters they wrote for me were written incorrectly.

After feeling taken advantage of and being out $500 dollars, I decided to begin to educate myself on How I Can, as the FTC recommends, Repair My Own Credit! On my first attempt at repairing my credit correctly, I had 8 out of 11 negative items removed from my credit report! I began teaching friends and family about what I had learned and helping them raise their credit scores. After toying with the idea of promoting what I had learned, due to the credit success of those that I taught, I wanted to create a program that people could EASILY USE on their own, UNDERSTAND QUICKLY and put to IMMEDIATE USE!
